Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and commitment to improving upon South African Social Security Company (SASSA) products and services during an engagement along with the agency's senior professionals in a strategic organizing session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% of your registered pupils from the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
